Jack the Ripper

• Jack the Ripper was a killer who terrorized the
  streets of London between August and November of
  1888.
• Wanted for the death and mutilation of at least
  seven female prostitutes in the East End section
  of London.

• A madman with a knife and a perverted sense of
  humor
• Yet, he was never caught

Lizzie Borden

• Lizzie Borden took an axe, gave her mother 40
  whacks.When she saw what she had done, she gave
  her father 41.
• Accused for the murder of her parents in 1892 .

• Although Lizzie Borden claimed that she was out
  in the barn at the time, she was accused of the
  murders on trial.
• She was found not guilty and the case was never
  solved.

The Boston Strangler

• A serial killer was loose in Boston,
  Massachusetts.
• Between June 14, 1962, and January 4, 1964,
  thirteen single women were all murdered in their
  apartments.
• Wanted Albert Henry DeSalvo, a main suspect.

• On November 26, 1973 in Massachusetts, the
  42-year old criminal was found in his prison
  cell, dead from 16 stab wounds.
• Police never confirmed whether DeSalvo was the
  Boston Strangler.

The Zodiac Killer

• Wanted The Zodiac claimed 37 victims, in
  California, although police agencies only
  consider seven to be definite Zodiac victims.
• The Zodiac gave himself that name. Nobody knows
  why, although there are many theories.

• Although several police agencies were once
  involved, the only recent law-enforcement
  activity had been from the San Francisco Police
  Dept.
• However, in April 2004, they made the decision to
  discontinue its investigation.
• The Zodiac Killer got away with murder
