Additional information

  • Students are expected to attend all regular
lessons and take all UTs for their enrolled
modules. There is an allowance of the best 13 out
of 15 Daily Grades considered in the computation
of the Module Grade, and this allowance caters
for illness and normal medical leave. There is no
need to submit routine Medical Certificates for
consideration, as the allowance has already been
    made.

21
  • UTs are a means of formal assessment in RP, and
all students are expected to attend all UTs
without fail. Students who are absent from any UT
will be deemed to have failed (i.e., given an X
grade and zero score) in that UT. No allowance
can be made for routine Medical Certificates, as
students will have missed the opportunity to take
their UT, and it is not possible to allow
re-takes of UTs. Students should therefore take
care that they are in good health in order to
    prevent their absence from UTs.

  • Students are responsible for the submission of
the necessary document(s) to their respective
Diploma's Programme Chair as early as possible.
  • The Programme Chair will then submit the
documents to the LOA Panel for approval. Once the
LOA Panel approves the LOA, Office of the
Registrar (ORG) will inform the student through
his/her RP email account. Students are to check
their RP email account for the status of their
LOA application and their eligibility to take the
Supplementary UT (if the approved LOA falls on
    the students UT day).
