    talking on camera, choose an employee that is.

    a restaurant, or empty service bays at an auto
    repair shop.
  • Plan a Field Trip If you do most of your work in
    the field, schedule your shoot at a job site to
    capture your business in action.
  • What to wear We recommend the person speaking on
    camera to not wear white, black, or large logos.
  • Short Script- What is your Message While you'll
    want to avoid sounding as though you're reading
    from a script, it helps to be prepared with two
    or three key points you want to convey to
    consumers ahead of time. Determine what makes
    your business special and unique.
  • Visual Think about what visual images best
    represent your business. Speak most directly to
    your target audience.

    premise is undeniable, adversity is unavoidable.

  • Campers - press on in the face of early conflict,
    work hard, pay their dues and do what it takes to
    reach a certain level... and then put down their
    packs and erect their monuments (65-90).
  • Climbers - they arrive with the Campers... but
    after lunch, move on to the summit, beyond the
    next challenge (less than 10).
  • Only Climbers take on the immensely gratifying
    challenge of innovation, entrepreneurship,
    building businesses when others say you cant.

Persevere- Who Is This Man?
  • He failed in business in '31.
  • He was defeated for state legislator in '32.
  • He tried another business in '33. It failed.
  • His fiancé died in '35. He had a nervous
    breakdown in '36.
  • In '43 he ran for congress and was defeated. He
    tried again in '48 and was defeated again..
  • He tried running for the Senate in '55. He lost.
    The next year he ran for Vice President and lost.
    In '59 he ran for the Senate again and was
    defeated.
