- Code T is used for students transferring from
one Florida school district to another and

pending eligibility determination - Change made in response to district requests

- Added note to clarify that all zeroes may be
reported in cases where consent was received
prior to July 1, 2008.

- E-mail sent to district directors August 29, 2008
re students identified as TMH or PMH reported as
receiving a standard diploma - Districts were asked to submit corrections before
the last day of state processing.

- Some corrections were made, but there were still
approximately 30 TMH/PMH students reported as
graduating with a standard diploma as of final
processing

2008 regarding educational environment data - Districts were asked to submit corrections no
later than December 2008

- Following period allowed for corrections
- there were over 1,500 students ages 3-5 who were
reported using codes for students ages 6-21 - There were over 700 students ages 6-21 reported
using codes for students ages 3-5
18A Look Ahead
- Changes to educational environment data for
students ages 3-5 is in the final comment period - For 2009-10, we will use existing elements and a
crosswalk, if necessary, if new reporting
categories go into effect.

- Example of proposed change
- Current Children attending an early childhood
program that includes 50 percent or more
nondisabled children at least 80 of time - Proposed Children attending a regular early
childhood program at least 10 hours per week and
receiving the majority of special education and
related services in the regular early childhood
program (50 or more nondisabled)

- Enter Time Elements (Time, Total School Week and
Time with Nondisabled Peers) for all students
with disabilities. - These elements are necessary for reporting to the
U.S. Department of Education
