Teaches and Everyone Learns. We are committed
to meeting the educational needs of all students
regardless of their life experiences and
circumstances. We work relentlessly to ensure
that each student is achieving at the highest
level possible.

• IMPROVE STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT
• Continue focus of instruction on core standards
  with completion and implementation of school-wide
  curriculum articulation alignment
• Communicate to students and visually post
  standards daily
• Continue implementation of the districts
  Comprehensive Literacy Model
• Continue use of best practices of instruction
  models including incorporation of Daily Five and
  CAFÉ components
• Use common formative assessments to drive
  instruction
• Implement a school-wide assessment system,
  including DRA2 K-5
• Continue to develop and implement differentiated
  instructional strategies with emphasis on
  language acquisition

• PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COLLABORATION
• Continue meeting in Professional Learning
  Communities (PLCs) with a laser sharp focus on
  common formative assessments and interventions
  for students not yet performing at grade level
• Sustain professional development for the
  continued implementation of the districts
  Comprehensive Literacy Model best practices of
  instruction
• Enhance professional development for DRA2
  assessment diagnostics
• Designated staff will attend professional
  development training focused on English Language
  Acquisition including EDL/DRA2 assessments
