Preparing our plan

• Reviewed available public resources for current
  information on pandemic
• Established process for tracking developments and
  updates in flu information
• Determined phase or situation triggers to
  implement next stages of our plan
• Identified a core team (HR, Facilities, Safety
  and Security, Corporate Communications, Medical
  Director, and BCP
• Outlined plan phases following the six phases
  defined by WHO.
• Followed HHS and CDC guidelines for plan
  components

People Issues

• Human Resources department established guidelines
  for work policies, employee support,
  compensation
• Staffing/absentee levels and work requirements
  will be reviewed on bi-weekly basis and adjusted
  as needed
• If Phase 4 is reached, HR will review all health
  care provider and resource status and
  availability

Environmental Issues

• Human Resources, Safety and Security, Facilities,
  and Medical Director established guidelines to
  limit exposure
• Reduce face-to-face meetings, travel cancel
  community events
• Close areas where large number of employees
  congregate cafeteria, fitness centers
• Facilities has identified steps to reduce spread
  of virus within the facility
• Identify needed sanitation supplies, sources, and
  process for distribution
• Identify requirements and resources for extra
  housekeeping measures (sanitizing wipe-downs of
  surfaces)

Coordinating with Local Officials

• We will comply with all federal, state, and local
  directives regarding isolation, quarantines, and
  closings
• Thrivent Financial participates with the
  Community Health Program (need to check on the
  name of this) in Appleton
• Thrivent employees are volunteers in the program
  to assist with medical emergencies, vaccination
  programs, and emergency communications

Integrating our plans

• Pandemic response plan is integrated with our
  short-term and long-term business continuity
  plans
• Operating with reduced staff
• Prioritizing work processes and functions
• Capabilities to have critical staff/functions
  work from home
• Plans include actions for quick response to
  support member needs

Integrating with Incident Management Plan

• Crisis response team includes representatives
  from all critical areas
• Team is briefed on pandemic phases/status
• Incident Management Team will coordinate initial
  response and get direction from business leaders
  as needed
• Team is responsible for initial evaluation and
  for providing direction to business areas to
  implement plans

  all employees can be reached through multiple
