IEEE Demonstration Courses
  • Preview 3 free demonstration courses
  • URL http//xell.ieee.org (Note No "www" in
    this URL)
  • User ID elearning
  • Password ieee
  • Select a course click the "MAP" button in the
lower left corner. Then choose the Introductory
Slide. Click "PLAY" repeatedly to review the
    course.
  • 2) Share the courses with clients or
colleagues by giving them URL, and the same user
    ID and Password.
  • Expert Now IEEE represents Rapid E-learning
which is characterized by short courses that are
one hour or less in length. The courses meet the
demands of clients for an accelerated learning
format and a low cost per user.

11
Pilot User Comments
  • This course was better because the content was
much better than other courses I have taken.
Also, it moved quickly enough that I was not
    bored.
  • Response time was excellent. Other course(s)
took forever to down load. Graphics of IEEE
    course were well-thought out.
  • Convenience. I would probably not have attended
a short course, such as this, if I had to travel.

12
Ease of Use Effectiveness
  • Majority of respondents indicated that it was
easy to very easy to navigate through the course
  • 92 of respondents agreed graphics and animation
    added to the courses effectiveness
  • 85 of respondents agreed screen text was easy to
read and instructors speaking voice was clear
    and easy to understand
  • 72 of respondents agreed that the amount of
    course interactivity (e.g. test questions,
assignments, contacts, learner inputs) was about
    right
