What is Moodle? A Course Management System
(CMS)

• Moodle is a software package designed to help
  educators create quality online courses.

• Moodle is the name of a program that allows the
  classroom to extend onto the web. This program
  allows a common place for students to go for many
  classroom resources. (Matt Riordan, 2003)

  (CMS) which is especially good for language
  teaching.
