) Mandate a) through advocacy and knowledge
sharing, promote equitable, affordable
and sustainable access to ICT and develop
related ICT capacities and skills by
Aboriginal Peoples in Canada b) to ensure

  • To foster and guide an integrated
    multi-stakeholder strategy leading

  • a) Aboriginal communities gaining access to
    high speed network
  • infrastructure and equitable high-speed
    telecom service costs
  • acquire the capacity to maintain local
    ICT network and equipment.
  • b) measures that encourage Aboriginal culture
    to be preserved, promote
  • and gain access to on-line and promoted
    globally
  • c) develop advanced and integrated Aboriginal
    government services and
  • programs on-line
  • d) the development and use of e-learning
    services
  • e) develop inter-jurisdictional urban
    aboriginal services and access
