Where can I go to find quality after school care
that I can afford?
4
The Donald L. Heiter Community Center
We offer an Academic Enrichment After School
Program each day from 330 7 PM. The program
offers tutoring, homework help, project supplies,
studying tools, snacks, and free time. Children
age 5-17 can attend and enjoy the many activities
we have to offer including foosball, pool,
basketball, football, walking trips to local
parks, crafts, board games, etc. The cost of the
program is 3 per day per participant and
scholarships are available to those who qualify.
Currently this program has 40 children enrolled.

We offer our building space on Friday Nights,
Saturdays, and Sundays to the public for a
minimum fee of 25 per hour. This fee includes
use of the Gymnasium, Lounge , living room,
kitchen, and conference room. We ask that rentals
book at a least a 4 hour time slot. Our space is
used heavily so plan in advance!

The Donald L. Heiter Community Center
THE WEST BRANCH FENCERS meet at the Center. They
provide weekly and bi-weekly classes for beginner
and advanced students, equipment is provided and
trained instructors work with all students. The
West Branch Fencers are currently accepting new
students from age 10 and up. Volunteer
instructors are also encouraged to join the fun!
9
Do you have any summer programs for children?
10
The Donald L. Heiter Community Center
We offer a summer day camp for children age 5-13.
The camp runs Monday-Friday from 7 AM 6 PM.
During this time we have crafts, games, relay
races, activities, go swimming, take field trips,
and much more. The cost of the camp is around
10 per day for each participant and includes
all supplies, admissions, transportation, meals,
snacks, and beverages.

everyone can join! We are also always looking for

We offer a variety of internship, senior, work

because it offers hands on experiences where you
know you are making a difference.
