Jamaica
  • Bob Marley wanted to make Jamaica a better place
    as a whole and for the people living there
  • They felt that his music helped them, capturing
    all aspects of Jamaica in his songs
  • He became popular at a time where Jamaica was in
    political turmoil the people looked to him for
    inspiration and hope
  • He just wanted to make Jamaica better and took
    over as their representative

INSPIRATION TO OTHER NATIONS
  • Bob Marleys song, Get Up, Stand Up became an
    anthem for a lot of third world countries. They
    believed that the song was telling them to get up
    and fight the oppressors.

  • Marley was playing

  • injured his toe. He went
  • to the doctors who did
  • not do a good job on his
  • Toe. Eventually, the toe
  • became cancerous and
  • the doctors told him
  • that the only way to stop
  • the cancer is to have
  • the toe amputated.

  • amputation is
