  • Corruption means the state of being dishonest,
    especially in matters concerning money.
  • It creates a very impact to the country's
    education, occupation, living style and mostly
    the humanity.
  • India was ranked 94 out of 176 countries surveyed
    in the Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) 2012,

  • CBI registered 600 corruption cases in 2011
  • CBI registers over 2,200 corruption cases in past

  • As with many developing nations, corruption is
    widespread in India.
  • India is ranked 95 out of a 182 countries in
    Transparency International's Corruption
    Perceptions Index, its score has degraded from
    3.4 in 2008 to 3.1 in 2011.
  • Corruption has taken the role of a persistent
    aspect of Indian politics and administration.

Anti Corruption ACT
  • The Prevention of Corruption Act came into force
    in September 1988. It was an improvisation of the
    Act of 1947.
