What is Percentage?

• Percentage or Percent is anything out of 100.
• Percent per 100 (cent 100)
• i.e., 2 is 2 out of 100.

• Consider you have an apple and you need to share
  it with your 3 sisters. So, in order to share,
  cut it into 4 equal parts. For each, 1 part of
  the whole apple (4 parts) is given.
• Hence for each , it is 1 part in 4.
• i.e., 1/4 Fraction
• The perentage of 1 in 4 is (1/4) 100.
