Ian Renner of Cape Town looks toward the greats
to inspire his movie sets. While he enjoys his
job as a freelance set designer in Los Angeles,
he truly enjoys film and believes in the power of
cinema to make important changes in our society.
His favorite movie sets include American Psycho,
Amelie, Star Wars, Clockwork Orange, and, of
course, the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

In Love with Los Angeles
Ian Renner of Cape Town moved to Los Angeles with
the dream of Hollywood. With meager beginnings
starting out as an aspiring actor, he eventually
made his mark on the film industry when he
discovered his talent and love for producing
movie sets. His time interning with a Los
Angeles set design company paid off, providing
him with the experience he needed to set out on
his own.

Between his job as a set designer in Hollywood
and visiting numerous art galleries and museums,
he enjoys
entertaining friends and colleagues in his
gorgeous new home in North Hollywood. He truly
enjoys spending time with people
in relaxed settings, and his home movie theater
combined with a fabulous library and swimming
pool serve as excellent places for his guests to
congregate.
