• Most plant recognizable features sometimes can be
  distinguished by looking at their leaves. Some
  people can tell what variety and kind of plant
  they came from. Same can be applied with Cannabis
  leaves wherein there are three types have been
  classified with it. It is also believed that each
  species provide a different effect to the user.

• The first type is called the Cannabis Sativa
  wherein it has thin, long and taller leaves. They
  have inadequate chlorophyll which results to a
  longer growth time and ideally planted outdoors.
  Its use provides an energized and uplifting mood
  and advised to be consumed at daytime. Sativa is
  the most widely used and some popular strains are
  Mauwie Wauwie and Purple Haze.

• The second type is called the Cannabis Indica
  leaves where it has large, wide leaves and
  occasionally has few leaflets compared to the
  largest Sativa leaves. It brings calmness and
  relaxing effect to the user which can aid to
  persons who wants a good night sleep. Some of the
  popular strains are White Widow, Northern Lights
  and Kush.

• The last type is called the Cannabis Ruderalis
  leaves and considered the smallest. They are
  almost similar to Indica however still looks a
  little narrow to any normal Indica leaf. Hybrids
  had already been produced as an attempt to
  Marijuana strains that would have different
  effects which will be helpful in the medical
  field. Certain strains were developed from mixing
  percentage of Sativa to Indica as it cures
  specific illnesses.
