Sussex
The dishes on the Bali Brasserie restaurant and
bar menu come from two very distinct, but similar
countries. Firstly Malaysia, which bounded in the
north by Thailand, and Singapore in the south.
Secondly Indonesia, which stretches like a string
of emeralds from the Asian land mass to the
Australian continent, and comprises of more than
three thousand islands.

The best of Indonesian-Malaysian cuisine in East
Sussex
The population of Malaysia consists of the Malay,
the Chinese, and groups of Indian origin. The
dishes of the country reflect the presence of all
three influences, and the Bali Brasserie
represents them all. Indonesian food offers an
invigorating contrast of flavours, with many
regional variations from island to island. No
other Far Eastern countries embrace so many
influences and offer such a wide variety of
dishes. And these are available to you, here in
the East Sussex town of Hove.

Malaysian Cuisine
The Malay culture and cuisine is influenced by
both China and India. Traditional Malaysian
recipes reflect this with dishes including sweet
and sour and oyster sauces, whilst the
Indian-derived dishes offer the spicy contrast of
various curries.

of flavours, with many regional variations from
island to island. The Bali Brasserie house
