Doctor Richard Reid has Won Many Awards in
Gynaecology

Dr Richard Reid holds vast experience as a
gynecologist. He was born in August 1942 in
Perth. He is a dedicated professional who has won
several awards for his excellent work. In 1977,
he was awarded with F.J Browne Model by the Royal
College of Obstetrics Gynaecology for the
highest marks in the board certification
examination. In addition, he also received
Presidential Award from the American Society of
Colposcopy Cervical Pathology Society of
Gynecologic Oncologists, Community Hospital Award
by the Program Committee of the Central
Association of Obstetricians Gynecologists, and
Best Scientific Paper Award.

Doctor Richard Reid has been associated with many
domestic international committees such as
International Society for the Study of Vulvar
Diseases, American Society for Colposcopy
Cervical Pathology, American Society for Lasers
in Medicine Surgery, International Federation
of Cervical Pathology Colposcopy, International
Pelvi-Perineology, International Academy of
Cytology, etc.

He has run several medical surgical education
courses in Australia abroad. He was the Course
Director of Sinai Hospital Biennial Course in
Colposcopy, Hysteroscopy, Cervical Vulvar
pathology Gynecologic Laser Surgery and
Australian New Zealand Institute of Medical
Education on Defect-Specific Prolapse Repair. He
worked as the Workshop Coordinator of
International Uro-Gynaecology Society
Postgraduate Workshop on Surgical Techniques
Biomaterials Use in Recurrent Prolapse Surgery
held in Lisbon, Portugal and Australian
Sonographers Association Workshop on
Transperineal Ultrasound.

Doctor Richard Reid is a true humanitarian who
believes in charity work. He was a foundation
member of the Double Bay Rotary Club,
Co-Organizer of two Australian Cancer Council
Pink Ribbon breast cancer fund raising events,
and a patron, Operation Operating Room, Friends
of Inverell Hospital to raise donations for the
local hospital.
