Piyush Seth is the Founder-Director of First
Medical Services Pvt Ltd and first to pioneer the
business of Used High technology Medical
Equipment in India. During his first visit to
United States in 1990 for a GE CT Scan training
programme, he saw the success and huge demand of
these systems within and outside US. However,
back in India selling these high end Scanners was
not so easy. Customers demanded full service and
part back up.

Piyush Seth First Medical Services began working
with GE Healthcare in 1990. While he was with
this company, he was rated as the best ultrasound
engineer within GE Healthcare. He was then
relocated in order to work on a major project for
the company. He used his experiences with GE
Healthcare to launch his career and he then
became the Director of First Medical Services Pvt
Ltd. Piyush has been busy building a Global
Medical Equipment marketplace for last 3 years as
his foresight saw decline in this category due to
high regulations being imposed by Indian
authorities on import of Used Medical Equipment.

with Pre-Owned Medical Equipment
In 2001, Piyush Seth opened First Medical
Services Pvt Ltd, a company that provided
solutions to the global radiology industry. This
company worked with pre-owned medical equipment
and provided servicing for CT Scanners and other
radiology equipment. There was a huge demand for
pre-owned medical equipment and Seth decided to
meet that demand. His company sold equipment to
medical colleges and provided maintenance. Piyush
Seth is a skilled engineer who has 24 years of
experience in medical technology and equipment.

About Medical Equipment
Piyush Seth earned a Bachelor of Engineering from
the Harcourt Butler Technological Institute in
Kanpur, India in 1989. He used his degree as well
as his work experience to learn about medical
equipment and become the director of First
Medical Services Pvt Ltd. He began by learning
about ultrasound machines and then went on to
learn about other areas of medical technology and
equipment. Piyush Seth opened 20Med Inc. in 2015.
He is still the acting Director of First Medical
Services Pvt Ltd. However, he knew that there was
a need for a next generation global marketplace
for medical equipment, parts, and services.
