We Are Professional Security Officer Educators
Security Training Center , LLC. is a
professional security guard training company. Our
purpose is to educate security personnel and
organizations in the latest protocols and
techniques to keep staff, property and other
valuables safe. A proactive approach to security

Our Guard Card Training

• Our Guard Card Training program complies with
  all requirements as mandated by the California
  Department of Consumer Affairs Bureau of Security
  and Investigative Services (BSIS) and the Arizona
  Department of Public Safety.
• At the end of this course while passing all exams
  with a score of 100 in accordance with
  regulations, and passing the required background
  checks, students are issued
• A Certificate of Training Completion
• A California Guard Card Issued by the State
  of California
• A Certificate and Identification Card for
  carrying of Tear Gas and Pepper Spray
• We are licensed by the Bureau of Security and

California Guard Card Baton Training
The baton training course is designed to provide
students with the minimum level of proficiency to
carry and use a baton while on duty as private
security guards. Individuals required to obtain a
baton permit must be taught in the format
described in Section 7585.9(a) of the Business
and Professions Code. The Baton Training Manual
provides that format.
We offer the BSIS Baton Permit training and teach
both collapsible/telescoping and side-handled
baton usage in all of our Baton courses.
Additionally, unlike the competition, students
leave with their permits! Our training exceeds
the BSIS requirements.

Security Incident Recollection Card
Remembering all of the details of crisis event
can be difficult even for the best trained and
most disciplined of us. For this reason, Security
Training Center, LLC. and Palladium Education,
Inc. have created a Security Incident
Recollection Card to help remind professional
security officers and law enforcement to record
details of an event that might help identify and
capture suspects. The card is created such that
it can be printed, double-sided, cut and carried
in a shirt or coat pocket, or kept in a small
notepad. Immediately after an event, record the
details by completing the card and marking the
diagrams. Suspect, vehicle, weapons, witnesses
and employees are all accounted for on the
Security Incident Recollection Card.

Electroshock Weapon
Security guards learn about a force continuum in
which they understand the appropriate levels of
force that is legal to use when suspected
intruders trespass or attempt to trespass in
protected areas or when a violent criminal
commits an act. When deadly force may not be
necessary, it simply makes sense to have an
option between physical strength, which is
finite, and a bullet, which is fatal. After all,
electroshock weapons emit electrical charges that
only temporarily incapacitate individuals but
they incapacitate them. If a suspect is under the
influence of drugs or alcohol, or in emotional
distress, the electroshock weapon will subdue him
or her successfully without causing permanent
injury.

Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED
American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First
Aid/CPR/AED The Adult and Pediatric First
Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates the latest
science and teaches students to recognize and
care for a variety of first aid emergencies such
as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head,
neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies
and how to respond to breathing and cardiac
emergencies to help victims of any age - adults
(about 12 years and older) and pediatric (infants
and children up to 12 years of age). Students
who successfully complete this course receive a
certificate for Adult and Pediatric First
Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.

Developing cogent training materials takes time
and experience. Add the complications of
navigating state laws, regulations,
administrative codes, training requirements, and
minimum course times and it can be an
overwhelming endeavor. Once course development is
complete, there are still the onerous tasks of
submitting the material, getting it reviewed and
eventually approved by state regulatory agencies.
All of these tasks must be completed before the
first student can be trained, which can delay
opening, and thus revenue generation, by
months. STC Guard Card Training has already
