Dr. Jose Poulose is a medical professional with
many achievements under his belt. Some of the
honors and awards he has received in his career
include Vitals.com patient choice award (2009,
2010, 2011), Strathmores Whos Who (2005-06),
Americas Registry of Outstanding Professionals
(2003-04), and many more.

Dr. Jose Poulose has completed his postdoctoral
fellowship in Cardiology at the Winthrop
University Hospital, Mineola, and NY 11501 in the
year 2005. Before that, he completed his two
year residency (July 99-June 01) and one year
internship (July 98-June 99) in Internal Medicine
from the same hospital. Jose did his Bachelors in
Medicine and Bachelors in Surgery (MBBS) from
J.J.M. Medical College, Karnataka, India.

Dr. Jose Poulose got his professional start in
1993 as a Medical House Officer for the Emergency
Medicine department at Christian Medical College
and Hospital, Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India. He
worked there for around two years.

Later, he got the chance to work at Winthrop
University Hospital Cardiology Solo Private
Practice in Williston Park and Bioscience
Clinical Laboratory, Port Washington, New York.

Besides work, there are many other things that
keep Dr. Jose Poulose occupied, such as his love
for reading and traveling. He also likes to help
the needy, share the gospel, and pray for others.
There have been many instances in his career when
he has not charged any fee from the insured and
poor.

In 2004, Dr. Jose travelled to Tanzania, East
Africa as a part of a Church Missions team. When
he saw the poor state of healthcare in the
region, he decided to raise 10, 000 with the
help of his friends for completing a stalled
clinic project at Morogoro.
