Bristol has seen a surge in plastic surgery
fuelled by man boob reductions and nose jobs
  • Bristol has seen a surge in the number of men and
pensioners going under the knife for cosmetic
surgery. Man boob reductions, and nose jobs are
among the top procedures being performed in the
    area.
  • Figures for Bristol and the region reveal the
number of patients aged over 65 undergoing
surgery at private health provider Nuffield
hospitals has shot up by 49 per cent in 2014
    compared to figures in 2007.
  • Men are also continuing to drive the cosmetic
surgery market, with many seeking procedures in
the form of nose jobs, eyelid lifts and man boob
    removal.
  • Although pensioners are traditionally one of the
most unlikely groups to be forking out for
cosmetic surgery, experts believe the shift in
people living longer has led to a desire in them
    wanting to improve their looks.
