INTRODUCTION
  • Most home networks are particularly vulnerable to
network security threats and depend on a Wi-Fi
router's firewall to secure our network.
  • CUJO is a smart firewall that keeps your
connected home and business safe from cyber
threats so that you can stay secure and private
    online.
  • The Cujo is a small plastic stump with light-up
eyes that stands in adorable contrast to its mad
dog name and home security mission statement.

4
WHY CUJO?
  • Your home is your sanctuary (safety from danger).
  • That's where we experience our most private
moments, safeguard our most precious files, and
experience peace of mind. Until now.
  • With our homes full of connected devices we've
become easy targets for criminal hackers.
  • You read it in the news every day baby monitors,
smart TVs, tablets - all hacked.

5
How does cujo work?
  • CUJO acts as a gateway between your devices and
for your connection to the Internet. We
inspect packets of data coming and leaving your
network and block threats before they can reach
the target or do damage. We analyze behavior and
secure all devices connected to your network.
This is critical because newly connected devices
    don't have pre-installed security.
  • Unlike traditional solutions, CUJO adapts and
reacts when your home is attacked and does not
rely just on libraries of known malware issues.
We analyze a humongous amount of behavioral data
in our cloud and push learnings from one home to
    all CUJO protected homes.

6
CUJO SETUP
  • Step 1 Download the App Before you proceed to
set up CUJO as a security device for your
network, please download the CUJO app for your
phone or tablet. All configurations, controls,
and notifications are handled using the CUJO app.
You can download the app from the App Store or
    Google Play.
  • Step 2 Activate Make sure your phone is
connected to the same network as your CUJO and
proceed with activation process on the app.
  • CUJO's two installation modes are
  • Direct/DHCP mode
  • DHCP mode
  • Standby mode
  • Bridge mode

7
Direct/DHCP mode
  • Direct/DHCP mode is designed to automatically
configure your router, so that all you have to do
is connect the CUJO device to your router.

8
  • 1. DHCP mode.
  • In this mode, CUJO will be running the DHCP
server, but it requires disabling the DHCP server
on your router. The CUJO app will help you change
    the DHCP settings automatically.
  • 2. Standby mode.
  • In this mode, CUJO is just another device
connected to your router, it does not protect
    your network.

9
BRIDGE mode
  • In this mode, CUJO sits between your router and
another network device such as a second router or
Ethernet switch. In this scenario, the bottom
Ethernet port on the CUJO is connected to your
first router, and the top Ethernet port on the
CUJO is connected to a LAN port on the second
router or to a port on your Ethernet switch.

10
CUJO EYE STATUS
  • What do the CUJO eyes mean?
  • When CUJOs eyes are round, it means that it is
    filtering something.
  • CUJOs eyes appear to be smiling when
everything is good it is connected properly.
  • When CUJOs eyes appear to be sad, means it is
    offline or disconnected.

11
CUJO SECURITY
  • CUJO is a smart home security device that
protects the connected home from the latest and
    most-sophisticated virtual intrusions such as
malware, viruses and hacking techniques. CUJO
uses self-learning technology to keep watch over
computers, smart phones, baby monitors, TVs and
other connected devices by constantly updating
itself to block new threats. Created by online
    security experts with extensive experience
fortifying software and hardware against virtual
threats, the company is situated to transform the
    face of cybersecurity.

12
Cujo security features
  • Safe Browsing (IP/DNS)
  • Command Control blocking
  • Unauthorized access blocking
  • Antivirus and Antimalware
  • Behavior Analysis
  • LocalCloud security layers
  • DoS attack protection
  • Protection of all devices on the network(like
PC,, Phone, TV, Camera and etc.)

13
Cujo applications
14
PROS of cujo
  • Installation is simplified by just connecting a
single Ethernet cable and making a few small
    changes.
  • All DHCP enabled devices will automatically
communicate through the CUJO and be protected by
    the CUJO.
  • It requires the least amount of network equipment.

15
CONS OF CUJO
  •  CUJO is also performing Network Address
Translation (NAT). This means your network is now
double-NATed, since your router already is
performing NAT. It can cause problems with VoIP,
    gaming, and other connection-sensitive traffic.
  • All traffic on your network is going first to
your router's built-in switch, then to the CUJO,
and then from CUJO back to your router, which may
    reduce overall network throughput.

16
CONclusion
  • Laptops, tablets, and smartphones offer good
firewall protection already, but if you have IoT
devices connected to your home or office network,
then CUJO will help you keep protected. In
particular, if you have webcams or baby monitors
in use, then I would highly recommend installing
a smart firewall like CUJO to stop hackers
gaining access and invading your privacy.
  • A smart firewall may not yet be an essential
item for the home, it will be in a couple of
years and it is best to get protected early to
avoid having to deal with the consequences of a
breach and block down after the fact.
