WHAT IS COLLOIDAL SILICA?
PRIMARY APPLICATION

LythicTM Cleaner is a non-corrosive
cleaner, formulated to remove surface dirt and
soil from concrete floor surfaces. It
fortifies concrete surfaces with reactive
silica as it cleans to increase
durability and maintain surface polish.

PREPARATION The surface should be completely
clean before application. Dry mop or sweep areas
to remove dust and surface debris. Gum and other
larger residue should be scraped off the floor
before cleaning.
APPLICATION
For general cleansing use, 1 Part LythicTM
Cleaner (concentrate) must be diluted with
32 parts of clean potable water in a ratio
of 132 to make LythicTM Cleaner Ready - to -
Use (RTU) mixture. Mop applications require a
separate rinse water bucket to clean the mop as
it applies LythicT M Cleaner. Frequent
replacement of clean water is required to
maintain effectiveness of this method. No
rinsing is required for either cleaning
method. LythicTM Cleaner can be effective for
spot cleaning oils and grease stains, apply a
small amount in concentrate form. Allow to dwell
for 15 minutes. Then gently agitate spot to
remove the soils.
STORAGE
LythicTM Cleaner should be stored tightly
sealed in its original container in a cool dry
place to maximize shelf life. Shelf life is
approximately 1 year.
MAINTENANCE
Routine sweeping, mopping and periodic mechanical
scrubbing with a neutral pH, non-rinsing cleaner
or water is needed. We recommend using LythicTM
Cleaner for all cleaning regimes. Avoid
any acidic cleaners. Acidic cleaners may etch the
surface over time and cause a dulling of
the finish. No aggressive scrubbing brushes
such as straogrit, nylogrit or other
aggressive scrubbing brush should be used. Avoid
detergents containing hydroxides or sulfates.
CLEAN-UP
PACKAGING
Clean tools and equipment with water immediately
after use. Residue from application and clean-up
is non-toxic.
