Australia Skilled Occupation Lists

• Federal government as well as various states
  of Australia, release new Skilled Occupation
  lists. These are the high demand occupations for
  which federal and state governments want suitable
  overseas skilled workers. Lets take a look at
  the new Occupation lists released in July 2017.

1. Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List
(MLTSSL)

• The candidates looking to apply for following
  visa categories can nominate an occupation from
  Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List
  (MLTSSL)
• Skilled Independent visa (subclass 189)- Point
  Tested visa
• Skilled Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass
  489)- Family nominated
• Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485) Graduate
  Work Stream

• Candidates applying for the below Visa
  Categories can refer to Combined list of Eligible

• Employer Nominated Scheme (subclass 186) Direct
  Entry Stream
• Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190)

  State or Territory nominated
• Temporary Work (Skilled) visa (subclass 457)

3. State Nominated Occupation List (SNOL)

• The State Nominated Occupation List (SNOL)
  list belongs to South Australia- a key Australian
  state. You can nominate an occupation from this
  list to apply for any of the below state
  nominated visas
