Both charity and Islamic education holds an
important role in Muslim community. Children
right from their birth is taught about the
benefits of both education and charity and is
always advised to perform it during their
lifetime. With adequate education and teaching it
is believed that individuals can be taught of new
ways of looking at the world and can also be
helped of developing new power of thinking and
understanding. In Islam both charity and
education is considered as building blocks of
life and character. It is said that only an
educated person is capable of maintaining life
balance and also giving good life to others.

Importance of education in Islam   Islamic
education is of great importance and it has
prevailed in Islam since ages. As per the
teaching of Ms Prophet it is said that every
human should crave to gain knowledge and this
craving shall begin from their birth and should
last until they die. Considering the importance
of education in Islam, almost every child is sent
to school to gain secular education and also gain
learning on their religion and what does it

The concept of charity has also been brought
forth in Islamic education. While gaining
education children are taught about
various Muslim charities UK and how performing it
can give individuals an improved and enhanced
life. Charity can be performed by making
donations for various causes like spiritual,
religious or to people who are in real need of
donation. Apart from above, the importance
of Sadaqa Jariya is also explained to people. It
is nothing but making voluntary contributions or
doing charity work on your own will. This charity
can be either performed monetarily or in other
ways by providing food, water and shelter to
needy people. Voluntary contributions are often
made to spread love, brotherhood and compassion
in the world.

How is charity performed in Islam?   Muslims are
taught various ways of performing charity out of
which some of them has been listed below Charity
can be performed by physically helping
individuals in the construction of mosques,
schools, hospitals etc. Needy people can also be
helped by providing food and water. Spreading
message of Islam is yet another way in which
charity can be performed. Distribution of Holy
books and sculptures is also considered charity
in Islam and it is advisable that individuals
should perform this act of charity regularly. For
less fortunate or needy people one can set up
food and water stalls and enable people live good
life.

How has charity contributed to better religion
and life?   The belief of teaching and education
in Islam has contributed in the making of better
religion and mankind. While major efforts are
being taken to promote education, schools and
colleges also various attempts have been taken to
spread knowledge of traditional practices like
that of Eid, Roza, or worship of Allah.
