Toilet Bathroom

• The water closet should be placed in West South
  or South or North West of the West i.e. in
  negative zone.
• The wash wasin/ shower should be in West.
• The floor slopes should be towards North or East.
• Hot water taps/ inlets should be from South East
  side only.
• The dressing room should not be infront of the
  main entrance door.

Kitchen Storage

• The cooking platform should be in the East and
  South. It should not touch the East and South
  walls of the kitchen. Kitchen should be well
  ventilated and must have window in East/West.
• The cooking range/stoves/burner should be in
  South East corner and should not touch the wall.
  It should not be opposite the main entrance to
  kitchen.
• The washing sink should be in North East corner.
  All water storage appliances should be in North
  East.
• Freeze in kitchen should be kept in any
  direction other that North East and South West.

Pooja Room

• Pooja place should not be below or above kitchen,
  sink Pooja area shall be located in the positive
  zone of the room.
• Pooja room door located opposite the main
  entrance door shows that the male members are
  intelligent, wise and earning through good means,
  command respect and are independent.
• The pooja room should not be in the bedroom.
• The toilet should not be above or below the pooja
  room.
• The safe/almirah should not be used as pooja
  room.

Drawing Dining Room

• The drawing room in the house should be located
  in north east, east or west.
• The furniture shall be placed in south, south
  west and west in the negative zone.
• As far as possible the positive zone of the
  north, north east and east shall be kept vacant.
• The sitting arrangement of the head of the family
  should be facing the East or in North direction.
• The Indian style sitting arrangement should be in
  the East, the West or the North.

Bed Rooms

• While travelling sleep with the head in West
  direction, where as, staying as a guest in some
  house sleep with the head in the South.
• Aged people should keep their head in South
  direction.
• A bed room irregular in shape, broader at
  entrance and narrow at back shows that the
  occupants are facing hindrance/obstacles in their
  life.
• The bed room should not face the pooja room door.
  It will bring hindrance in settlement of marriage
  of female members of the family, if they live in
  the house.
• positive zone of the room.
