Introduction
National Eligibility cum Entrance test is the
national level examination conducted by CBSE
(Central Board of second secondary education)
for admission to MBBS BDS courses. The
conducting authority organizes NEET examination
every year in various cities across India. From
2016, NEET exam replaced to the AIPMT (All India
Pre Medical Test).

  • It is expected that NEET Official Notification
    would be announced in the month of January 2018.

Changes Introduced in NEET Exam
  • MCI approved the proposal of Union Health
    Ministry, where Union Health Ministry asked to
    finish the attempt limit of NEET Exam. From
    2018, those who are from general/OBC category can
    attempt NEET Exam 9 times and those who are from
    reserved category can attempt it 14 times.
  • As per the latest news, the exam will be
    conducted the bilingually.

NEET Application From
  • Students can fill NEET application form only via
    online mode.
  • Three basic steps to fill NEET application form
  • Fill basic details
  • Upload scanned images
  • Submit application fee
  • Once the application form is successfully
    submitted, take a printout of confirmation page
    and keep it for future purpose.

Application Fee
  • General/OBC candidates need to pay Rs 1400/- and
    reserved category candidates need to pay Rs
    750/-.
  • Fee can be paid via online mode (Credit Card and
    Debit Card).
  • Candidates who select offline mode payment can
    pay through e-challan of Syndicate, SBI, ICICI
    Bank or HDFC Bank.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Nationality
  • Should be a citizen of India
  • OCI (Overseas citizen of India) can also apply.
  • Candidates who are from JK, AP, Telangana are
    eligible for 15 all India Quota(Also Eligible
    for admission in AFMC, Pune).
  • A Candidate must have Aadhaar Card for NEET
    Registration.
  • Age Limit
  • Minimum age limit is 17 years.
  • Maximum age limit is 25 years (For general/PwD)
    and 30 years (For reserved category)
  • Qualification
  • A candidate who has passed or appearing in 12th
    Exam will be eligible.
  • Candidates who have Chemistry, Physics,
    Biology/Biotechnology with English as a
  • compulsory subject will be eligible.
  • Candidates must posses 50 marks (for
    general/PwD) and 45 (For Reserved category) in
    qualifying examination.

NEET Syllabus
  • MCI prescribed the syllabus for NEET Exam which
    comprises of three subjects Physics, Chemistry
    and Biology (Zoology Botany).

NEET Answer Key
  • CBSE will release NEET Answer key one week after
    the examination.
  • Candidates can find it through online via the
    official website _at_cbseneet.nic.in
  • If candidates think the answer given in the
    answer key will be wrong and authority accept it
    then the challenged fee will be refunded i.e. Rs
    1000/- for each answer.

NEET Result
  • The authority will release result in the first
    week of June 2018.
  • Candidates need to go official website.
  • Login into their dashboard
  • Then fill the required details.
  • Click on download button.

  • Minimum marks required to qualify in the NEET
    Exam.
