  • Paul Panaikas Serving In the United States Army
    for Many Years
  • Paul Panaikas joined the United States Army
    National Guard on February 4, 1993 when he was
    only nineteen years old.
  • The inspiration for him to join the Army was
    influenced by knowing that both his grandfathers
    served the United States Army.
  • Paul has served at different positions in CA, WA
    and RI as a Soldier.

  • Training
  • In July of 1993, Paul Panaikas completed his
    Basic training at Fort Leonard wood, Missouri.
  • Next, he entered the X-Ray Specialist Program at
    Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas.
  • After successfully graduating, he was transferred
    to Fort Eustis.
  • Virginia was where he completed his on the job
    training and graduated in July of 1994.

  • Current Position in the RI Army National Guard
  • Currently Paul Panaikas is serving as the Rhode
    Island Army National Guard Resilience/Yellow
    Ribbon Coordinator.
  • He conducts and manages Resilience Training for
    Master Resilience Trainers, Resilience Trainer
    Assistants and Soldiers of the Rhode Island Army
    National Guard.
  • He facilitates planning of Master Resilience
    Training (MRT) and conducts Resilience Trainer
    Assistant Courses for over 160 Soldiers and
    civilians.
  • He provides direct guidance to Army National
    Guard Soldiers and families to overcome
    adversity, and minimize risky behaviors and
    suicides.
