Snooza Pet Friendly Fabrics

Whats in a Fabric?
  • We use only the best quality, pet friendly
materials in our dog and cat beds. We thought
wed give you the low down on some of our most
popular fabric options and what makes them pet
friendly and best suited to the particular needs
    of your pet.
  • If you know Snooza at all youll know that
functionality with style is very important to us.
Youll find many stylish dog beds, beds for cats
and luxury dog beds in our range.

Fabric Choices
  • Some of the most common things that come up when
we speak to our customers about fabric choices
are chewing, digging (nesting), feeling the
cold, hairy pets and those who shed excessively,
    incontinence issues overheating.
  • Well go through each characteristic below and
recommend the best option from the Snooza range
    for you to consider.

4
Chewing
  • Firstly, there is no such thing as a chew-proof
fabric. We have some very tough fabric options
available but none are going to stand up to the
teeth of a determined chewer (dogs can chew
through solid bone after all). That said, we use
a super resilient denier 1000 canvas fabric on
our D1000 beds. Its washable, Teflon coated, UV
    treated and flea-free!

5
Digging (Nesting)
  • Nesting is a natural instinct in dogs. Their wild
ancestors scratched at piles of leaves, dirt, and
other debris to create a safe bed. We recommend
these fabrics (which are available across a
variety of styles in our range https//www.snooza.
    com.au/indoor-beds), D1000, Velboa Safari,
    Ripstop, Butchers Stripe etc.

6
Feels the Cold
  • For those pets who feel the cold its best to go
for a higher pile fabric to offer them extra
warmth and comfort. The best options for these
pets are Mock Lambswool, Polyplush Polar
fleece. These fabrics are available in many
    styles across our range (https//www.snooza.com.au
    /indoor-beds).

Hairy Pets (Heavy Shedders)
  • Whats the use in owning a beautiful luxury dog
bed or pet bed if its a magnet for retaining
    your pets hair?
  • Our Espresso Mock Suede is super soft and
brilliant at resisting pet hair. Its an
upholstery grade fabric and you can tell. Its
wrinkle resistant too and fabulous at staying
clean. We use this fabric to make our Newport ,
    Cocoon Traveller.

8
Incontinent Issues
  • Our Big Dog Bed, Magnomat and Stay Dry Mat are
the best options if your pet is incontinent (or a
puppy in training). All of our soft indoor beds
can be broken down into component parts and
easily washed too if you prefer
    https//www.snooza.com.au/indoor-beds .

9
Overheating
  • If your pet is prone to overheating look no
further than our Pet Futon and raised beds. Our
Pet Futon is made from calico which means its
naturally cooling and flea-free. Our raised beds
allow air circulation through your pet which
makes them ideal for those who overheat.
