Forging Manufacturing Process
The process in which shaping of a metal takes
place by the help of heat, force, and pressure is
known as forged flanges manufacturer. It is a
kind of manufacturing process where a metal of
irregular shape is converted into a metal product
which has the desired shape and size. A forging
process involves the heating of the workpiece or
metal to soften it so that it can be reshaped
easily. The examples of products made by forging
are spoons, utensils, automobile components etc.

• Steps involved in a common forging process
• Correct selection of the metal to make the
  desired product. For example, if you want to make
  utensils, you should choose steel or aluminum and
  if you want to make the body of aircraft, you
  should choose aluminum.
• Cut the metal into pieces of required size.
  Suppose, you have an iron rod of 2 meters and you
  are required to make spoons of 15 centimeters,
  then you will need to cut the iron rod into small
  parts first.
• Heat the metal ingots at the required
  temperature. Heating of the metal is required to
  soften them. This softening of the metal reduces
  the amount of pressure required to reshape the
  metal. Heating of the metal can be done by using
  furnaces.
• Apply required pressure in correct manner on the
  heated metal ingot to reshape it into a product
  of desired shape and size. The pressure can be
  applied by using hammers or presses.
• Sidecut is required when the product of desired
  shape and size is produced to remove the extra
  metal part attached to the product.
• Finishing of the product is done, by making its
  surface smooth and a coating is done also by the
  process of Galvanization.

Aluminium Forging Process
The steps involved in the forging process of
Aluminum forging process are as same as stated
above but the difference is that the pressure is
applied in a unique way. Since Aluminium is a
lightweight metal, so the temperature at which it
should be heated and the method of forging is
different from other metals. Hammering is not
generally used for the forging of aluminum.
Following are some techniques used to forge the
aluminum metal

1. Open-Die Forging Perfect for preparing expansive
   bits of aluminum, open kick the bucket presses
   don't compel the aluminum billet amid the forging
   procedure and use level dies of pre-cut molds and
   patterns.
2. Close-Die Forging This forging process uses two
   or more dies to forge the metal. The products of
   unlimited varieties of 3D shapes of various sizes
   can be formed in this method.
3. Rolled-Ring Forging The procedure regularly
   starts with an open-die manufacturing to make a
   ring preform, molded like a donut. Then a few
   rollers apply weight on the preform until the
   coveted divider thickness and stature are
   accomplished.

The aluminum forging process is required to
reshape the aluminum metal to create the body of
vehicles or aircraft, to make some machinery
parts etc. There is a huge demand for aluminum
components in various industries and therefore a
quality product should be produced after forging.
