2 Months Preparation Strategy for CBSE Class 12
Pre Board
Class 12 is the most crucial year of your
academic life. Your performance in the CBSE Class
12 Board exams may greatly influence your career
path in the future. A couple of months before
the Board exam, students have to appear for the
CBSE Class 12 Pre Board, which is just as
important. Pre-boards are like the
dress-rehearsal before a grand act. To deliver a
phenomenal performance in the final act (CBSE
Class 12 Board exams), you must take this
rehearsal seriously. You have just two months
before your CBSE Class 12 pre-boards, and by now,
and most of you should have a sound preparation
strategy in place. In case you dont have one
yet, we are here to guide you. Refer to the tips
and tricks given below to shape up your strategy
for CBSE Class 12 pre-boards. You may also refer
to them to fine tune your existing exam strategy.
Preparation strategy for CBSE class 12 pre-board
Month 1 Take the pre-boards seriously - CBSE
class 12 pre-board is like a grand mock test
before the board exams. In the pre-boards, you
can make as many mistakes as you want. You can
analyze these mistakes and rectify them on time.
You can gauge your preparedness for the imminent
2
Board exam, and identify the areas on which you
need to work upon. And, this you can do, only if
you treat the pre-boards as seriously as you
would your board exams. Get Focused - This is
the best preparation strategy for CBSE Class 12
pre-board exams. With just two months in hand,
now is the time to give your pre-boards your
undivided attention. So, identify the factors
that are causing a distraction, and put them on
hold for the next couple of months. Switch off
from social media if you need to put your cell
phone on flight mode if thats what will help
you concentrate. Put a study plan in place - No
one goes to battle without a strategy, and
similarly, you cant tackle your pre-boards
without a proper daily, monthly and weekly study
plan. While shaping up your preparation strategy
for Class 12 CBSE pre-boards, you must set
specific targets. And, you must allocate time in
a way so that you can meet your study
targets. Set achievable targets - Let not your
targets be like, cover Maths syllabus over today
and tomorrow. This way, the two months before
the pre-boards will pass by, and you will still
find yourself unprepared. Instead, break it
down. Your preparation strategy for CBSE
pre-board should consist of specific
targets. Fall back on NCERT textbooks - With
just 2 months to go to before CBSE Class 12
pre-board exams, the last thing that you should
be doing is textbook hopping. Referring to
multiple textbooks for one subject can make your
brain go fuzzy, and leave you utterly confused.
The best preparation strategy would be to fall
back on NCERT Solutions textbooks prescribed by
CBSE and study them end to end. Preparation
strategy for CBSE class 12 pre-board Month
2 Practice positivity - Can you feel the
pressure mounting? Until now, you had two months
in hand, and suddenly a month has passed by.
But, this is no reason to panic. Believe in
yourself and all the efforts that you have. Do a
quick recapitulation to see where you stand.
Then, strategically plan out the portions you
are left with. And, tell yourself that you can do
it. Solve sample papers - And, what better way
to carry out revisions than solving
sample papers? Sample papers are an inevitable
part of CBSE Class 12 pre-board preparation
strategy. Solving sample paper is the best way
to pick up speed and accuracy while answering
questions. Appear for mock tests - By now, you
must have covered most of the topics in your
syllabus. Now, you should start appearing for
mock tests. Taking mock tests will help you to
identify your
3
strong and weak zones in every subject.
Strengthen and polish your strong zone. As far as
you weak zone is concerned, try to get a grasp
on the basic concepts at least. Eat right, sleep
tight - Erratic food and sleep habits can take a
toll on your health. And, you surely dont want
to fall sick before the exam. So, make healthy
eating and sleeping on time, a part of your
preparation strategy for Class 12 CBSE pre-board
exam. With especially a month left before the
exam, you may feel it necessary to study late
into the night and then wake up early to study
again. But, getting inadequate sleep will only
make you fall sick it will not add to your exam
preparation in any way. To add mileage to your
pre-board preparation, check out our sample
