Remembering Columbia) NASA Museum Board of
Director in 2011. Shes still a serving member to
date.

Dr. Lana L. Comeaux began her career as an
independent grant writer in 2002. She still works
as an independent grant writer. Her veteran
skills include writing and securing private,
state, and federal grants for various entities.

She has secured over 8M to date.

Her exemplary writing skills honored her to serve
NASA Board of Director and she also acted as an
educational advisor that opened in February 2011.

She also teaches and facilitates upper- level
educational law, since 2010. Interestingly, she
worked as a field supervisor at Lamar University
(2011 2013). During her tenure, she conducted
web-conferences with students in the Principal
Certification and Master of Educational
Leadership.

Dr. Lana L. Comeaux took notes and discuss
relevant issues and concerns facing student. She
also served as a mentor for students. She
reported meeting and notes to Field Supervisor
Director for state and national records.

Lana Comeaux was also a founder of a support
group for Parents of Autistic Children. Due to
the increasing number of kids with special needs
in Lanas rural area, she noticed scarce
resources, inaccessible resources to meet their
needs.

Dr. Lana L. Comeaux then organized a support
group for Parents for which she is a founder of.
She served on a regional committee through Deep
East Texas Council of Government.

Dr. Lana L. Comeaux also served as the pilot
program in Texas where she was primarily
responsible for collecting and analyzing data
regarding education and health issues.
