Goa - the Indian Mauritius, is famous for beaches
not only in India but also across the globe. This
smallest state of India houses many beaches and
hence is flooded with many tourists from various
parts of the world. One can indulge in doing
different things like taking a sunbath, enjoying
watersports, clicking selfies, munching Goan
cuisine, playing volleyball etc.

Anjuna Beach
This beach was known to be a favourite of the
hippies of years gone by. Trance parties are
held here during the tourist season. The
popularity of the beach has ensured that it is
abutted by several eating and drinking outlets.
It has water sports and parking facilities.
Arambol Beach
The picturesque Arambol beach, situated in North
Goa, is nearly 16 kms of palm trees, immaculate
sand and water. It is split into two beaches -
Arambol and Harmal. The latter is more popular on
account of the cliff formations alongside it. At
the Arambol beach people often sit and enjoy the
setting sun, playing music, meditation, etc.

Baga Beach
The Baga beach is around 1.5km long and comprises
pristine, fine white sand and an authentic local
feel with many traditional huts still being used
by the local fishing population. It is famous for
its water sports jet-skiing, parasailing,
wakeboarding, windsurfing and kitesurfing.
Calangute Beach
Calangute beach is one of the most crowded
beaches in Goa and is often referred to as the
Queen of Beaches. Many tourists are attracted
to this beach as the there are lot of activities
that one can do here. Sunbathing, Watersports,
swimming ,etc.

Candolim Beach
Candolim beach is a calm and peaceful beach with
pacific water. There are no shops, restaurants or
any commercial activity. Scrubs covered dunes at
the back is the major attraction.
Miramar Beach
This beautiful beach, orginally known as Gasper
Dias Beach, is a golden fringed beach, lined
with palm trees. The tourists get to enjoy a
glimpse of the magnificent Arabian Sea from the
beach. It also offers a kaleidoscopic view of the
Aguada fort that you just cant miss!

Sinquerim Beach
Another great beach where one can enjoy
para-sailing, water-skiing, scuba diving and
windsurfing and is one of the popular places in
the state. This spectacular stretch of sand is an
ideal place for swimming and flaunts a great view
of the Aguada beach.
Vagator Beach
This crescent shaped beach is located about 22
Kms from Panaji and is situated in Bardez taluka.
This beach gifts one privacy as the number of
visitors are less and one can enjoy the
tranquility of nature all by yourself. This beach
offers a great sunset view that you don't wanna
miss!!
