NDA (NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY)

• The National Defence Academy (NDA) is the Joint
  Services academy of the Indian Armed forces
   which imparts basic training for all three
  Services of Indian Armed Forces Army, Air Force
  and Navy.
• NDA Exam is conducted by the Union Public Service
  Commission(UPSC) twice a year (once in April and
  once in September) for admission to the Army,
  Navy and Air Force.
• The NDA is located at Khadakwasla near Pune,
  Maharashtra. It is the first tri-service academy
  in the world.

NDA 2019 Dates 

• NDA Exam Dates 2019 have been released for
  candidates who wish to appear for NDA Exam 2019.
• NDA Entrance Exam is held twice a year,
  generally in the month of APRIL and NOVEMBER.

Physical Eligibility

•  Candidates must be physically fit according to
  physical standards for admission to National
  Defence Academy and Naval Academy Exam (I) 2019
  as per guidelines given in Appendix-IV.
• A candidate who has resigned or withdrawn on
  disciplinary grounds from any of the training
  academies of Armed Forces is not eligible to
  apply.

NDA Syllabus

• The NDA Exam will have Mathematics, English and
  General Ability (History, Chemistry, Physics,
  General Science, Geography, Current Affairs,
  etc) sections.
