Install And Activate The Google AMPL Plugin
The first step is to activate AMP on your
interface. This can be done by using a plugin.
WordPress plugin development has ensured that you
can access at least one tool for adding new

listed in the official directory of the CMS.
There is an official AMP plugin for WordPress
users. It has been developed by the AMP project
contributors and is available for free.
Log in to your installations admin

2. Install And Activate The WPForms Plugin
In order to create a form that can be rendered in
the AMP version, you will need a form building
solution. The tool that we have chosen to create
our lead generation form is called WPForms. It is
a 5-star rated product with more than 2 million
active installations. It is a freemium solution
meaning that it is available in a free as well as
a paid version. The free version is called
WPFroms Lite while the premium one is called
WPFroms Pro. You can use any of the variants to
generate your form. Use the same
method as explained in the above step to install
and activate the software on your interface. The

3. Build Your Form
It is now time to create an AMP form in
WordPress. WPForms is known as a contact form
plugin but it can be used to generate any kind of
form ranging from registrations to donations.
Here we are demonstrating the method to generate
a simple contact form. You can use the method to
build a form according to your requirements. Go
to your admin dashboard and locate WPForms in the
menu. Now choose the Add New option under it. You
will now be asked to choose a template. We have
selected the Simple Contact Form as shown in the
image here.

3. Build Your Form(Cont..)
The plugin has drag and drop functionality
meaning you can simply drag an element and drop
it at the desired location. This editor will now
open. On the right-hand side, you can see a
sample layout while on the left all the available
field options are shown. The fancy fields can
only be accessed by Pro version subscribers. In
case, you do not want a field shown in the
layout, hover your cursor over it. A trash-bin
icon will be displayed and clicking it will
remove the box. You can change the order of the
fields, hide their labels, alter the text size,
and do much more. Press Save when you are
satisfied with the changes.

4. Configure The Settings
There is a control panel on the extreme left-hand
side of the screen with multiple tabs. Select the
Settings option and the General Settings screen
will open. Here you can change your form name as
well as the message on the submit button text.
You can also activate Honeypotto block spam
submissions. Switch to Notifications
where you can opt to be notified through e-mail
whenever a submission is made. Move to
Confirmation where you can enter a confirmation
message which will be displayed to users when
they make the submission.

5. Add Your Form To A Page
Open the page where the form is to be displayed
in the editor. Now click the Add Block icon
and search for WPForms. Add the block to the
editing screen. Select the form you
created in the previous step in the block. Once
the form is loaded, you can hit Publish to add it
to the page. You AMP-supported form will now be
displayed on your website.
