• 1. SLET or SET Exam
• The State Level Eligibility Test or State
  Eligibility Test is conducted for the recruitment
  of Assistant Professors in Humanities and Social
  Science subjects. This exam is conducted by UGC.

• 2. UGC NET Exam
• UGC NET Exam is conducted by NTA (National
  Testing Agency) determine the eligibility of
  aspirants for the Assistant Professor only or for
  both JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) Assistant

• This exam is conducted twice in a year. The first
  UGC NET Exam is conducted in the month of June
  and next one in the month of December.

• CSIR NET is Council of Scientific Industrial
  Research National Eligibility Test. CSIR NET
  Exam is conducted for Junior Research Fellowship

  June and December.

• TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) is conducted for
  the recruitment of candidates for the post of
  Teachers in Government schools. This is conducted
  by both Central and State Government.

• CTET (Central Teaching Eligibility Test) is
  conducted by CBSE to recruit candidates as
  Teachers at Primary and Upper Primary levels.
• Central Government schools like KVS, NVS, Central
  Tibetan Schools, etc. and schools under the
  administrative control of UTs of Chandigarh,
  Dadra Nagar Haveli, Daman Diu and Andaman
  Nicobar Islands and NCT of Delhi recruit CTET
  qualified candidates.
