    but most of us probably dont know of their
    health benefits. I was one of these people. I
    simply liked the taste, so I had a lot of it.
    However, Fruit Jams, with no added sugar or
    preservatives, are actually very healthy. Fruit
    jams are a great choice if youre looking to
    maintain a healthy weight. They have little or no
    fat or cholesterol that makes them perfect to
    help you regulate your weight gain. Fruits, as we
    all know, are a great source of vitamins so jams
    made from them, provide health benefits. Fruit
    jams are basically fruit gelled purees, made from
    the flesh and juice of fruits. Along with sugar
    and water, they are heated to activate pectin
    (the reason it is not thin liquid and gets its
    jelly form).

  • I researched this and the pectin is actually
    supposed to lower the chances of cancer while
    contributing to the health of your skin, bones,
    hair, etc. Fruit jams also help to lower the
    chance of cardiovascular ailments. They are
    widely considered graceful aging foods as they
    help in slowing down the aging process.
  • Fruit jam is the best option (after eating fruits
    themselves) if youre considering a healthier
    diet. Preserves, another healthy alternative, are
    basically mixtures made of fruit juice, pulp,
    skin, seeds, sweetener, and pectin. As long as no
    artificial health ingredients are added, fruit
    jams, preserves, and some fruit spreads are great
    choices as healthy foods.

  • With regard to which brand is healthier, it
    really depends. Personally, Ive always been
    loyal to Weikfields St. Dalfour range. The
