Mothers Day is just around the corner and kids
always love to create something unique for their
mothers. Your toddlers must also be preparing
something to surprise you on Mothers Day.

they are sharing some of the fun and easy craft

Butterfly Handprint Cards

• These butterfly handprint cards are too cute! And
  the best part about this craft is it is handmade
  with love and comes with an adorable keepsake of
  your childs handprints. Supplies you need
• Multi-colored card stock/ paper
• Small googly eyes
• Black markers
• Pom poms
• Paint and glue
• Steps to follow
• First, fold over the paper in half
• Now trace your childs hand such a way so that
  the wrist is on the folded side
• Then add an antenna and cut out your butterfly
• With the different colored paper, cut out a body
  and head (round or heart-shaped) and paste the
  head with the body. Stick two googly eyes.
• Lastly, draw the mouth with a black marker.

Felt Flower Bookmarks

• These Felt flower bookmarks are adorable and
  super easy to make.
• Supplies you need
• Multi-colored felt papers
• Assorted buttons
• Glue
• Green popsicle sticks
• Steps to follow
• First cut the felt papers in the shape of flowers
  (at least 2 to 3 per bookmark) using either the
  die cutting machine or scissors
• Arrange the flower shapes in layers and adhere to
  the layers with felt glue and add a colorful
  button to the center of each flower.
• Paste the flowers onto popsicle sticks to
  complete the bookmark.

Plastic Spoon Flowers

• In Montessori San Dimas, CA, kids often make
  these little flowers for their mums as these
  flowers are super cute and easy to make.
• Supplies you need
• 3 plastic spoons
• Floral tape
• Green pipe cleaners cut into thirds
• Yellow pipe cleaner cut into halves
• 1 small clear cup
• Brown paper shavings
• Glue
• Steps to follow
• Face all 3 spoons inward and start wrapping the
  middle with floral tape and go all the way down
  so the spoons are held together.
• Now insert the green pipe cleaners into some
  spaces in the tape and the yellow pipe cleaner
  down the center of the spoons so some of the
  yellow portions are sticking out of the top.
• Glue the spoon bouquet to the bottom of the cup
  and fill the cap with brown paper shavings.
• Your flowers are ready to gift.
