Epoxy is known as a copolymer, which means it is
formed by the chemical reaction that occurs when
two different chemicals are combined, these two
liquids that are mixed, and it is called the
resin and the hardener. Chemically, the resin
consists of monomers or polymers which are
short-chained and which have an epoxide group at
either end. This epoxide structure is what bonds
with other molecules.
