Confederation center of arts
Canada officially became a country 150 years ago
in Charlottetown PEI. This important moment has
been memorialized and honored in the
confederation of center of arts. This landmark
is famous for the best of artistic talent which
has been put on display. The confederation
covers a full city block and has 5 theaters and
an art gallery. Visual and performing arts both
have a permanent place in this building. Green
Gables Heritage place Whenever PEI is mentioned
to many people, the first thing that they think
of is Anne of Green Gables. If you really want
to get the experience of PEI then it is
advisable that you visit the Green Gables
Heritage House. People who like this story
should know that this house and inspired the
setting of the novels written by LM Montgomery.

Prince Edward Island National Park
If you visit an island then a swim is a must. The
Prince Edward Island National Park measures 37
miles in length and captures the beautiful north
shore of the province. There are many scenic red
and white sand beaches and you can spend the day
hiking cycling, or golfing and take a relaxing
swim at the end of the day. There is also the
Greenwich Interpretation Center which houses 20
multimedia interactive exhibits about the region
and 10,000 years of history that shaped it.

talked about the PEI national park, but Greenwich
deserves a mention in itself. You find the
biggest sand dunes in the province in the
park. The ecosystem of this park is delicate and
very rare in North America. With an extensive
trail and a floating boardwalk, allows you to
enjoy the 900 acres of
dunes at a pace of your choice.

Confederation trail
This is a walking, cycling and snowmobile trail
which was earlier a train line which runs from
one tip of the island to the other. If you love
the outdoors then you should definitely explore
this trail. Every year many cyclists flock to
this trail and they are assisted by a number of
guides and tour plans. There are many villages
along this trail where you can have a meal and
see a bit of the local life. Victoria Row This is
a great destination for avid shoppers and is
located in Charlottetown. The cobblestone road
is lined by Victorian buildings and cars are not
allowed to enter this road during summer. This
makes it an ideal place for pedestrians who want
to shop and eat. Restaurants serve food outdoors
in their patio gardens and many musicians set up
along the street making quite an enjoyable

Basin Head Provincial Park
The beach located in Canada is located in Basin
Head Provincial Park. The beach is white sand
and is 14 kilometer long. The waters are quite
warm in the summer and it is really enjoyable by
all beach lovers. After you have had the sun and
sand during the day, you can end the day by
visiting the Basin Head Fisheries museum which
displays the history of fishing in this
area. West point lighthouse The lighthouse is a
working lighthouse and also an inn where you can
get a different taste from the same old hotels
everywhere. This lighthouse is located on the

built in 1875 and the zebra paint work makes it
stand out. The tower and keepers quarters make

Confederation Bridge
The confederation bridge is 12.9 kilometers long
and connects PEI to other parts of Canada. This
curved bridge is a feat of engineering and is the
longest bridge in the world that spans ice
covered waters during the winters. This bridge
allows visitors to reach PEI by road instead of
taking a ferry. There is a shuttle that takes
passengers and cyclists across the bridge

golf lover then the Links at Crowbush Cove is a
beautiful golf course. It is located in such a
way that it overlooks the sand dunes of PEI. The
course has earned a lot of praise who know golf

in C anada. All in all Prince Edward Island is a
