As the name suggests, these solar systems are
installed on the roof of the buildings. This is a

enough ground or your ground area doesnt receive
sunlight directly on it. You need to see whether
the roof of the building is easily approachable
or not for maintenance of the system.

3. Grid-tied solar panel systems
Grid-tied solar systems are connected to the main
grid station. It allows you to purchase the
energy if you need more energy than your solar
system, and you can also sell the energy to the
grid if you are producing it in excess.

4. Off-grid solar panel system
Off-grid solar panel system is not attached to
the grid station. The power that you need is
produced by your solar energy system and you
dont have the option of selling it to grid
station or buy energy from it. Its self
sufficient for your home. Those who prefer the
independence of their solar system can go for
this type.

5. Solar ready
Solar ready systems are the ones that are
installed at the time of construction of a
building or a site. The building that has a built
in solar panel system is called solar ready. In
these systems there is no need to install
anything after the construction is complete. The
building design is made according to where and
what type of solar energy system will be
installed in it.
