  designating different clothing pieces for various
  genders (such as pants for boys and skirts for
  girls) stifles people's ability to express
  themselves as they see fit and may worsen mental
  health concerns.

  they can and can't wear, they can resist making
  their own decisions and postpone the transition
  from an adolescent to an adult, thereby
  negatively impacting their ability to become
  autonomous.
