    research and development in the area of science
    and technology. This is the reason that makes
    Canada a great place to live. Canada also
    provides more tax incentive programs than in
    other countries.

The main aim behind the SRED tax credit program
It is a tax program that provides tax credits for
legal research and development in the field of
science and technology. The Canadian government
spends time, effort and money in promoting both
Canada and research within the country.

Eligibility
  • Any corporation with permanent set-up in
    Alberta that is involved in SRED and qualified
    for federal SRED tax credit after December 31,
    2008. It is refundable at 10 on up to 4 million
    in eligible expenditure. Please note that the
    definition of eligible expenditure was revised
    after December 31, 2012.
