• Even listening to the word Covid-19 has started
  to cause anxiety and exhaustion in our brains.
  And yet, we bravely tackle the aftereffect of the
  lockdown conditions and offer the best treatments
  we can. Citi Care Hospital is the only ENT doctor
  in Pune authorized as a COVID-19 treatment
  center, faced a great surge in the number of
  patients seeking nose and throat treatments with
  the fear of testing positive for COVID-19. These

• We have to be more than a precautionary while
  performing the nasendoscopy procedure, where an
  endoscope is used to examine the inner regions of
  the ear, nose, and throat. Since the endoscope
  tube is inserted and removed from the airways, we
  faced a greater risk of directly contracting
  infectious germs and viruses, including COVID-19.
  Hence, patients who suffered from even the
  general COVID-19 symptoms such as sore throat,
  fever, cough, or shortness of breath were
  examined with utmost safety. Most of our
  specialists spent entire shifts in their N-95
  masks and body gears.

• We also assumed the risk of facing patients, who,
  out of the fear of being tested positive for
  COVID-19, didnt inform us about their symptoms
  and simply asked for regular treatments. Hence,
  patients are asked to disclose their personal
  details and even insisted on getting a COVID-19
  test first in necessary cases.
