  • The Department of Economic and Social Affairs,
    United Nations in its World Population Prospects
    2019, claimed that India will overtake China as
    the worlds most populous country around 2027.And
    this has intrigued the critics across the world
    to consider this factor as a weakness of India.
  • However, the good news is, India is still on high
    spirits knowing the fact that it comprises one of
    the youngest populations in an aging world, and
    by 2022 the countrys median age will be just 28
    as compared with 37 in China and the US.
    Nevertheless, this also brings into limelight the
    need for skill development training among the
    youth of the country.

    beings life which later helps them to survive in
    the world through the knowledge and wisdom gained
    in school, college and University. But to excel
    in the professional world, one has to be equipped
    with ample practical and technical knowledge
    which can be only earned through proper skill
    training.

  • Among all the skills, technical skills are the
    need of the hour which should be embraced by
    fresh graduates, keeping in consideration Indias
    maximum youth population and their parents are
    inclined towards STEM-related career coupled with
    the noticeable impact of technological
    advancements on jobs.

    Engineers, 2019, published by Aspiring Minds, it
    came out that over 80 of Indian engineers are
    unemployable for any job in the knowledge economy
    and only 3 engineers possess new-age skills.

    experience a smooth campus to corporate
    transition and stand out from the crowd.

    preferences of the employers today and the
    students understand it quite well. Reportedly, in
    2018, India received 80 (2.2 million
    applications) more internship applications
    compared to 2017s 1.27 million applications.

    internships posted on its website came with
    pre-placement offers.

    International Data Corporation claimed that there
    will be more than 1.4 million new IT jobs
    available in India by 2027, indicating the
    upcoming workforce to focus on getting imbibed

    in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data

    openings in the IT sector, it will be safe to say
    that fresh graduates should give a thought on
    engaging in IT Courses before embarking on their
    job hunt journey. A right training which can be
    customized and personalized according to the need
    of a graduate or ongoing student can put a
    noticeable impact on their resume and the career
    in the long run.
