  • "You might even believe that makeup is a
futuristic innovation from staring at glossy
    tabloid commercials with attractive people
advertising" the newest beauty gossip," "the
finest mineral foundation, "or" the most sexy eye
makeup that's around. But the true truth is,
since ancient days, makeup has been around. One
thing remains consistent over thousands of years
of experience and distinct countries and
cultures people want to look fine. Of course,
over the years, the kinds of cosmetics they used
have shifted, from toxic compounds such as
arsenic and iodine to today's healthy , natural
mineral makeup, which utilises minerals that
exist naturally.Makeup was used to improve beauty
and in Biblical days. We know this because many
times, makeup is explicitly listed in the Bible.
"For instance, King 930 says," Jezebel learned
of it when Jehu came to Jazreel, and she painted
her eyes and decorated her head. "Jeremiah 430
says," What do you think when you dress in
scarlet, when you decorate yourself with gold
ornaments, when you widen your eyes with
paint?Have a look at clean beauty for more info

  • In ancient Egyptian tombs dated
from 3,500 B.C., archaeologists also discovered
signs of eye shadow. As eyeliner, the ancient
Egyptians used kohl. Copper, lead, soot, burnt
almonds, and other components were created from
it. By the first century A.D., powders for
rendering the skin whiter and red produced of red
ochre for the cheeks were often included in the
usable cosmetics. Cosmetics were produced in
ancient Rome by female slaves called Cosmetae. It
is fascinating to remember that there was also a
legend encouraging make-up fashion in China, much
as in modern times it was reported that Princess
Shouyang, the daughter of Emperor Wu of Liu Song,
was relaxing by some plum trees near the palace
when a plum blossom drifted down on her face and
left a lovely impression on her forehead. The
ladies of the court were said to be so fascinated
by the exquisite mark that they started
decorating their foreheads with a delicate
pattern of a plum blossom. This legend led to the
pattern of makeup named meihua zhuang, which
basically means "plum blossom makeup," common
during the Southern Dynasties (420-589), the Tang
Dynasty (618-907), and the Song Dynasty
(960-1279).This legend led to the pattern of
makeup named meihua zhuang.Do you want to learn

  • The emergence of Christianity
(which disapproved of cosmetics) in the Middle
Ages dampened the appeal of makeup considerably.
Still, it's still used by some women,
particularly in the upper class" The use of
makeup again grew in the upper classes in the
18th and early 19th centuries. The most common
    look persisted, becoming incredibly pale.
Unfortunately, many of the materials in the
makeup of the era were toxic and created severe
health issues. White lead, mercury, and sulphur
were part of the make-up of the period. Any women
stuck drops of poisonous belladonna in their eyes
to make their eyes sparkle, or managed to obtain
white skin by swallowing chalk or iodine. It
wasn't until recent years that healthy , natural
cosmetics, like the common mineral makeup of
today, started to go on the market. neckline.Have
a look at lip serum for more info on this.
