2Add Chrome web browser in the Windows Firewall
- Open the Run dialogue box (by Windows key R or
from the start button and searching for Run). - You have to Reach out to Control Panel (Type
control and press OK, or directly open the
Control Panel from the Start menu). - Once Control Panel windows are open, tap on the
System and Security. - Now tap on the Windows Defender Firewall in the
new window. - You will find Allow an App or Feature through
Windows Defender Firewall (in the left Pane), and
click on it. - Go to Change Setting, and tap on Yes, which UAC
has prompted. - In the end, you will find a button of Allow

3Adding the Exception in the Antivirus Firewall
(for the Avast Web Shield)
- Open the Avast Antivirus.
- Tap on the Avast Settings.
- Go to Avast Protections.
- Find the Customization located just next to
the Web Shield and click on it. - You can find the Exclusions, in the left pane.
Click on it to open the next window. - Enter URL of blocked website (which generated the
error in the first place). - Tap on Add button which will add the URL in the
Exclusion list.
