Mill Capital acquired RND Automation out of
Lakewood Ranch, Florida to boost its industrial
automation portfolio which currently includes
iAutomation out of North Attleboro,
Massachusetts. This strategic acquisition will
allow both RND and iAutomation to expand their
service offerings and exchange expertise, while
also expanding their presence along the East
Coast. Briarcliff Manor, NY Saw Mill Capital
Partners II, LP and affiliated private equity
investment funds managed by Saw Mill Capital LLC
("Saw Mill") are pleased to announce the
acquisition of RND Automation (RND), a leading,
Florida-based integrator of robotics, vision
systems and automation solutions for custom
packaging and assembly applications. The terms of
the transaction have not been disclosed. The
acquisition of RND expands Saw Mills portfolio
of affiliated automation companies that
cross-sell and share synergistic resources to
accelerate growth. In 2017, Saw Mill acquired
iAutomation, a value-added designer and
distributor of highly-engineered automation
products, solutions, and services for
manufacturers of technologically advanced
automated equipment. We are excited by this
opportunity to partner with Saw Mill to take our
growth to the next level, stated Sean Dotson,

partnering with Saw Mills portfolio company,
iAutomation, for the last couple of years and are
