• Many times as skin therapists we get asked, What
  are the best skin care products? So I thought I
  would take this opportunity to answer this
  question.
• The first thing I would like to say is, its not
  about a particular range. Its  about finding
  something that respects the skins natural
  health. It doesnt matter if you are 16 or 75, if
  you get the right level of water (ie Hyaluronic
  Acid) and oils (ie EFAs) your skin will thrive. 
  Its a bit like finding the perfect balance of
  water and food for plants!!

Hydration prep

• Commonly known as a toning lotion. Unlike the old
  fashioned lotions which were more astringent,
  these ones really help saturate the skin with
  lots of moisture. It starts increasing the water
  level of the skin, so when you put a serum or
  moisturiser on after, it actually increases the
  penetration of the treatment products.
• My favourite is Excel 02 toner. One of our best
  selling products, a brilliant toner for oily
  skin, but suitable for all skins.

2 Eye cleanser

• My favourite is called Options Eye Makeup
  Remover. Its not the best name because its
  actually a treatment eye cleanser.
• It is high in hyaluronic acid which is a moisture
  binding ingredient. It draws moisture to the skin
  and instantly starts plumping it, so any little
  fine dehydration lines will start to become less
  visible.
• To use, simply soak a cotton round and hold over
  the eyes for 10-30 seconds to break down any eye
  make up, then wipe in a downward movement. As an
  at home treatment, soak two cotton rounds, pop it
  over the eyes, lay down for 10 or 15 minutes.
  Youll get better penetration from your eye cream
  too.

3 Hyaluronic Force Serum

• This is all about saturating the skin with
  moisture molecules. It has 100 hyaluronic acid
  of three molecular weights.
• The smaller molecules go to the deeper layers and
  instantly starts to swell between our structural
  layers. This gives a great plumping effect and
  perfect if youre worried about the signs of 
  ageing.
• Medium molecular weight HA goes to the middle of
  the skin and starts to fill up our reservoirs
  with lots of water.
• High molecular weight hyaluronic acid works
  directly on the epidermis (surface layer of the
  skin). It acts as a barrier and helps to lock in
  moisture and helps reduce sensitivity and
  irritation and minimises breakouts and promotes
  healing of the skin. Use as a pre-serum to help
  increase the benefits of other serums.

4 Absolute Nourishment Elixir

• This product contains five different essential
  fatty acids. Its what we call a dry oil, so it
  doesnt feel heavy or thick on the skin. Use on
  top of your other  serum or you can mix it with a
  moisturiser.
• Some people choose just to add a little bit to
  their skin before foundation, if you find your
  foundation is sinking into your skin.
• Perfect for use in the drier months to ensure
  your skin stays soft and smooth.

5 Excel 02 CC cream

• This is a treatment foundation. It gives great
  coverage without actually making you look older.
  Best used on a freshly moisturised skin.
• Its high in hyaluronic acid and licorice, which
  combined helps to reduce inflammation. It also
  contains SPF 30.
• It is self-adjusting to six different color
  spectrums so blends to almost every skin colour.
  I havent met one person that cant use it.
