Best Features of Delta Airlines Business Class

Description:

Delta’s class names are often confusing, as Delta doesn't provide a real first-class . The very best level of luxury that Delta offers is their Delta Airlines Business class. If you research this class, you will find that this is often the sole class that gives lie-flat seating, a standard seating option in other airlines’ business class. – PowerPoint PPT presentation

About Delta Airlines
Founded in 1924, Delta Airlines is one among the
main airlines of the USA, serving all continents
except Antarctica. The airline, alongside its
subsidiaries, operates quite 4000 flights a day .
3
The airline offers six travel classes to its
passengers, namely Business Class. Currently,
Delta airlines offers Economy, Main Cabin, Delta
Comfort, first-class , Delta Premium Select, and
DeltaOne. Note that the last two are only
available on long-haul flights, with Premium
Select only on select international flights.

Delta One Suite
As of late 2017, the Delta One Suite became the
king of the hill in terms of Delta aircraft
seats. Theyre arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration
and provide ample space and privacy thanks to the
sliding door found at each suite. Since their
introduction, other products have come onto the
scene from airlines like ANA of Japan and Qatar
Airways, but Deltas suites remain a top option
for long-haul flying. You will find Delta One
Suites on the carriers Airbus A350 and Airbus
A330-900neo aircraft.
5
Delta One on the Boeing 767-400ER
While Deltas retrofit Boeing 767-400ERs (764)
dont technically feature Delta One Suites, the
new Delta One product is about as close as youll
get without having a sliding door. Flyers can
expect thoroughly modern design, entertainment
systems, lighting, lavatories and more. The
updated Delta One product for the 764 is
essentially an updated version of the Thompson
Vantage seats it has installed in its 767-300
aircraft, meaning seats are on the narrow side
and there isnt a ton of storage to speak of.
However, it still represents a massive upgrade
over the previous version with its tiny IFE
screens, creaky seats and hardly any privacy.
6
After Delta One Suites and Delta One on board the
764, Deltas reverse-herringbone seat is the
next-best option for premium flyers. This 1-2-1
configuration affords a good amount of privacy,
personal space and storage. The one downside of
this product is that the physical aspects of the
IFE system are outdated with small and somewhat
laggy screens.

Thompson Vantage
The Thompson Vantage seat found on Deltas Boeing
767-300ER aircraft (all of these jets are set to
be retired by 2025) is the least-desirable
all-aisle-access business-class product the
airline offers. The seats are not very private
and when the bed is fully flat, you feel very
close to the floor of the plane. Furthermore, the
IFE screens are woefully small and laggy and can
be very frustrating to operate and see,
especially in bright light.
